I had the opportunity to purchase both Motorola MBP36 and MBP36S to compare. The difference between the two video baby monitors was not obvious at first, so I contacted Motorola. Motorola advised the MBP36S, is the newer version of the MBP36 that includes upgraded video and audio. This review is only my personal experience and opinion. The updated audio and video alone made me chose the MBP36S. The one second image delay can be annoying, but the MBP36S appears to be better quality for the long run.
